Fasig-Tipton's April Digital Sale closed Wednesday afternoon with 64 horses sold for $1,822,500. The sale averaged $28,476 with a clearance rate of 74.4%. The catalogue offered horses of racing age, racing/broodmare prospects, 2-year-olds in training, broodmares (including mares with foals at foot), and short yearlings. Jockey Kendrick Carmouche notched his 4,000th career victory on Saturday at Aqueduct Racetrack, guiding Whisper Hill Farm's Crimson Light (City of Light) to a half-length victory in the eighth race.
