Delaware cancels

Live racing at Delaware Park which was set for Wednesday, Sept. 3, has been cancelled because of insufficient entries, according to a press release from the track on Friday morning. Delaware is scheduled to resume Saturday, Aug. 30 with a post time of 12:45 p.m. ET.

Due to the extreme weather conditions in the Mid-Atlantic caused by Tropical Storm Ophelia, the live racing card was canceled at Delaware Park Saturday, according to a press release from Delaware Park. The live racing day has been rescheduled to be run on Friday, November 3. The revised daily live racing schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday through the remainder of the meet which is scheduled to close on Saturday, November 4.
