Dr Paull Khan has been named the new chief executive officer of the European and Mediterranean Horse Federation (EMHF). Khan has served as the organisation's secretary-general since 2012. Brant Dunshea Elected EMHF Vice-Chair

Brant Dunshea, acting CEO of the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), has been elected vice-chair of the European and Mediterranean Horseracing Authority (EMHF). Dunshea becomes one of three EMHF vice-chairs and will represent its member countries which are European and outside the European Union, with the others being the Channel Islands, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey. Thoroughbreds To Be Recognised In Olympics

Thoroughbreds will now be recognised in the starting lists and results beginning with the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, in an agreement announced on Tuesday. Previously, retired Thoroughbred racehorses were listed as 'breeding unknown'. Russian EMHF Application “Will Not Be Further Progressed”

The European and Mediterranean Horseracing Federation released a statement on Wednesday noting that Russia's application to join the federation has been placed on hold, and expressed its "concern and sympathy" for Ukraine. EMHF Fellowship Observer Competition Launched

The EMHF Fellowship Observer competition, open to all members of racing societies affiliated to the ESHF, was created by the European and Mediterranean Horseracing Federation (EMHF) and the European Student Horseracing Federation (ESHF).
