Race Dates for Four Ontario Tracks Approved by AGCO and OLG

The 2026 race dates for four Ontario racetracks--Woodbine Racetrack, Woodbine Mohawk Park, Fort Erie Race Track and Ajax Downs--have been approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), it was announced Wednesday. The Jockey Club Of Canada Announces 50th Anniversary Race Presentations

A series of presentations at race tracks across the nation will commemorate the 50th Anniversary of The Jockey Club of Canada, the organization said in a release late Wednesday. Beginning with the Manitoba Derby at Assiniboia Downs on Aug. 7, current Jockey Club of Canada members will be attending various key race days at tracks in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario. OLG Returns as Title Sponsor of Canadian Triple Crown

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. (OLG) will return as title sponsor of the Canadian Triple Crown of Thoroughbred racing in 2022, Woodbine Entertainment announced Thursday. The OLG Canadian Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing consists of The Queen's Plate, to be run Aug. 21 at Woodbine Racetrack, the Prince of Wales S., to be run Sept. 13 at Fort Erie Race Track, and the Breeders' S., to be run Oct. 2 at Woodbine.
