The BBAG Spring Online Sale catalogue was revealed on Tuesday. Featuring 40 lots, including eight juveniles, 28 horses-in-training and four broodmares, the sale will begin on June 3 at noon and end at 4 p.m. local time on June 5. Three of the broodmares--Beauty Of Lips (Mastercraftsman) (lot 2), Lips Highlight (Highland Reel) (lot 15) and Peace Of Light (Lord Of England) (lot 23)--are in foal to Tunnes. The two-day BBAG October Sale kicked off in Germany on Friday with lot 101, a chestnut filly by Torquator Tasso, selling for €110,000 to A-Turf. Consigned by Gestut Hof Ittlingen, the daughter of Lucy Lou (Soldier Hollow) is a half-sister to €200,000 Ferdinand Leisten Memorial BBAG Auktionsrennen hero Loucas (Best Solution). Lazio, third in both the G1 Deutsches Derby and the G1 Grosser Dallmayr-Preis, is one of 30 lots catalogued for the BBAG August Online Auction. The son of Make Believe will be consigned by Waldemar Hickst. BBAG Auktionsrennen hero Warren Hill (Churchill) is also set to sell from the yard of Henk Grewe. The auction will run from August 13 at noon to August 15 at 3 p.m., with lots closing in two-minute increments. Entries will still be accepted through Monday, August 11.

The 2025 BBAG September Yearling Sale catalogue, featuring siblings to several Classic winners spread across Germany and Italy, is now online. Set for Friday, September 5 at 10 a.m., the sale has attracted 210 yearlings, with 51% of the catalogue either out of black-type mares or  full- or half-siblings to black-type horses. The inaugural BBAG Christmas Online Sale will begin on Nov. 26 and bidding will close on Nov. 28. Horses of all ages are permitted for the auction which is identical in format to the spring online auction, BBAG announced on Monday. Horses do not have to travel to the sales ring in Iffezheim. The one-day BBAG Yearling Sale in Baden-Baden will see 223 yearlings go through the ring on Sept. 3, as the catalogue was announced on Thursday. BBAG's October Mixed Sale, set for Oct. 16-17, is restricted to 500 people. Both Ireland and the UK have been placed on Germany's COVID-19 High Risk list, as cases of the coronavirus have increased in recent times. In order to attend the sale, a negative COVID-19 test must be taken within 48 hours before arriving in Germany. Certification of the negative COVID-19 test is required for admittance to the sales grounds. The sale begins on Friday at 10 a.m. and Saturday at 5 p.m.
