The Godolphin-sponsored Schools Together exchange programme initiative, which involved 16 students, was launched in March this year. The Irish leg of the visit took place from 8-10 March, with a reciprocal Newmarket trip from 17-19 May. The purpose of the exchange was to give participating second year students an opportunity to learn more about the culture of their host country, the thoroughbred industry and most importantly, develop their own skills and abilities.
