The broodmare Laurelita (Ire) (High Chaparral {Ire}), the dam of US Grade I winner Fev Rover (Ire) (Gutaifan {Ire}), will be offered by Manister House Stud during the Goffs November Breeding Stock Sale, the sales company announced on Tuesday. Involved since the organisation's founding in 1991, Goffs Chairman Eimear Mulhern will step down from the Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Committee, it was announced Thursday. At Goffs Thursday, Mulhern was presented with a memento from HRI CEO Suzanne Eade, HRI Director of Bloodstock and Equine Welfare John Osborne, and ITM Chairman Dermot Cantillon. A total of 100 foals have been catalogued for the first edition of the Goffs British NH Breeders Showcase at Doncaster on Friday, Nov. 3. The two-day format of the showcase will see a foal show beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, with the sale held at noon on the following day. Wednesday's Goffs September HIT Sale at Doncaster saw 70 lots sold, headlined by drafts from Gigginstown House Stud and Gordon Elliott and NH 2YO stores. A total of 89 head were offered, down from 113 last season, amassing £697,500, down from £1,294,200 for 106 sold in 2022. Average dipped to £9,964 from £12,210 as did the median, dropping from £8,500 to £6,750 this term.
