Goffs chief Henry Beeby has described himself as 'quietly hopeful' ahead of the groundbreaking new Classic Breeze-Up Sale, due to kick off at 6.15pm on Saturday. The gelding, from the Woodhouse Stud draft, caught the eye of Gerry Hogan Bloodstock and Paul Nolan Racing and was secured for €70,000. Goffs has extended their sponsorship of the G3 Goffs Lacken Stakes from 2025-2028, Naas Racecourse announced on Thursday. Set for Sunday, May 18, Royal Ascot Trials Day, the race will have an increased prize-money of €60,000.
