The remains of Hall of Famer Ruffian have been transferred from the infield at Belmont Park to Claiborne Farm in Paris, Kentucky, where the legendary filly was born and raised, officials at the New York Racing Association announced Thursday. NYRA has also relocated the plaque from Ruffian's gravesite at Belmont Park to Claiborne Farm. Thoroughbred Charities of America (TCA) received a bequest from the Cathy D. Perry Trust, the organization said in a release Tuesday. The bequest was presented to TCA board members and staff by Perry's son Brandon and daughter-in-law Diannah in the winner's circle at Saratoga Race Course in early August. (CDI) properties to begin accepting in-person sports wagers on Thursday, Sept. 7, the company said via a release Wednesday morning.
