Due to changes in racetrack schedules and auction sales dates as a result of COVID-19 restrictions, the Breeders' Cup announced Monday that it's extending the discount deadline for horses of racing age to Saturday, Aug. 15. The upcoming Texas Summer Yearling Sale Aug. 24 will now include a horses of racing age session in lieu of having broodmares and weanlings, the Texas Thoroughbred Association and Lone Star Park.
