The Jockey Club has today announced that Charlie Boss is to become Chief Executive Officer of Jockey Club Racecourses (JCR). The Jockey Club 2025 Fact Book Available

The 2025 edition of The Jockey Club's Fact Book is now available in the resources section of the organization's website, according to a press release from that entity on Friday. The online Fact Book is a statistical and informational guide to Thoroughbred breeding, racing, and auction sales in North America, which is updated quarterly. The first equineline.com report centered on Thoroughbreds in their second careers, Off-Track Thoroughbred Profile, is now available through the Jockey Club, the organization announced Wednesday. The report, 9OT, provides information customized to off-track Thoroughbred owners and those shopping for a Thoroughbred. Twelve people have been denied stud book privileges of registering foals with the Jockey Club, effective January 1, 2025, due to violations, the group announced Friday via press release. Applications Open For Jockey Club's Internship And Academic Programs

Applications for The Jockey Club's paid internship program for college students and recent college graduates and its five academic scholarships opened Monday. The eight-week internship program in Lexington, KY will accommodate up to three interns and is now available in the summer or fall based on the intern's preference. Interns will gain exposure to all companies and departments within the organization, and they will have the opportunity to spend additional time in areas that they find to be of particular interest.
