Starke Makes History with Yushun Himba Strike Aboard Kamunyak

German-born Andrasch Starke became the oldest winning jockey in the history of the Yushun Himba (Japanese Oaks) as the 51-year-old partnered Kamunyak to a last-gasp victory in the second leg of the Japanese Triple Tiara at Tokyo on Sunday. Sodashi's First Foal Is A Filly By Equinox

Group 1-winning white mare Sodashi (Jpn) (Kurofune) delivered her first foal, a filly by Equinox (Jpn), last month according to a post by the Northern Horse Park and owner/breeder Kaneko Makoto Holdings on X. Born on Jan. 30, the filly does not share her dam's white colouring as she is bay, but is doing well.
