Jockey Ryan Moore and noted owner/breeder Kirsten Rausing have both been named in the King's Birthday Honours List. Coolmore/Ballydoyle's retained rider, Moore has been awarded an MBE for his services to racing and British sport. He was aboard Queen Elizabeth II's Estimate (Monsun) when the filly landed the G1 Gold Cup in 2013. Currently he has ridden 92 Royal Ascot winners and also has 18 British Classic victories. History-making jockey Rachael Blackmore, who in 2021 became the first woman to ride the winner of the Grand National, has been made an honorary MBE for services to sport. Dr. Jerry Hill, chief medical adviser for the British Horseracing Authority, has been awarded an MBE for services to horse racing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
