Golden Horn Gelding Stars at Goffs Doncaster Spring Store Sale

A three-year-old gelding by Golden Horn topped Monday's Goffs Doncaster Spring Store Sale when bought by Paul Nicholls and daughter Megan for £140,000. A half-brother to the G1 Champion Hurdle third Luccia (The Gurkha), lot 100 was offered on behalf of breeder Paul Sandy by Mill House Stud. Improving Chaser Bumpy Evans Stars at Goffs Summer Sale

The seven-year-old Bumpy Evans (lot 49) topped Monday's Goffs Summer Sale at Doncaster when going the way of Richard Lee Racing for £60,000. Consigned by trainer Tim Vaughan, the son of Ocovango came into the sale as the winner of three of his four starts over fences, having added to that tally on Saturday with a 28-length victory at Cartmel.
