In an effort to give young fans an "inside" look at the game, Del Mar launches 'Paddock Pals'--an up-close-and-personal session in the paddock on race days. Beginning Saturday, July 19, the program will see a Del Mar staff member randomly select a youngster and their family out of the crowd and accompany them into the paddock prior to certain races throughout the summer season. ThoroFan has released a 2020 Guide to Saratoga Race Course Trainers' Saddle Towels, available at www.thorofan.com. The guide also offers pages of educational materials on the process for preparing a horse for the races. The ThoroFan 2020 Guide has been adapted to a digital platform as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
