NY Stakeholders Partner to Offer $20k in Prize Money to TAKE2 Hunter Classics

The New York Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association (NYTHA), New York Thoroughbred Breeding and Development Fund, and New York Racing Association (NYRA) have partnered with the TAKE2 Program to donate $20,000 in prize money for two Thoroughbred Classics. Hall of Fame Farm Tour Series Begins With McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds

The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame is partnering with seven regional farms and Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital for exclusive behind-the-scenes tours from May through October. The tours will be offered at no cost, courtesy of the New York Thoroughbred Breeding and Development Fund. The Museum's tour series kicks off Saturday, May 23, at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds. TAA on Site for Saratoga Races, Sales

Thoroughbred After Alliance will work to advance its initiatives at Saratoga in August, with a presence both at the racetrack for the GI Whitney Stakes weekend, as well as at the sales pavilion for both Fasig-Tipton Saratoga yearling sales. The TAA will be present at the New York Racing Association's  Community Outreach Booth on both Aug. 3 and 4. Patrons and race fans can visit to learn about accredited aftercare. Spendarella Named 2022 New York-Bred Horse of the Year

Gainesway Stable's Spendarella (Karakontie {Jpn}) was named 2022 New York-bred Horse of the Year--as well as champion 3-year-old filly and champion female turf horse--at the New York Thoroughbred Breeders Inc.'s annual awards ceremony, sponsored by the New York Thoroughbred Breeding and Development Fund, at Saratoga National Golf Course Monday evening.
