Henry Cecil Open Weekend Raises Record £107,454 in its 11th Year

In a landmark achievement for the Henry Cecil Open Weekend [September 20-21] in Newmarket, £107,454 was raised for charity - a 20% increase on last year's total of £89,196. Proceeds will be donated to the Newmarket Housing Trust and long-term charity partner Racing Welfare. The 2024 Henry Cecil Open Weekend has raised a record £89,196--a 68% increase on the amount raised last year--the committee behind the event announced on Wednesday. New Format And Charity Partner Announced For The Henry Cecil Open Weekend

The Henry Cecil Open Weekend committee announced on Wednesday that the 2024 event will support the newly-formed Newmarket Housing Trust as the main charity beneficiary. Racing Welfare, a long-standing charity partner, will continue to be supported by the Open Weekend which takes place this year on September 21-22.
