The stakes schedule for the 2026 summer meet at Saratoga Race Course, which will open Friday, July 3, and continue through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7, was released by the New York Racing Association, Inc. Live Racing at Aqueduct Canceled on Sunday Due to Storm

Live racing has been canceled at Aqueduct Racetrack by the New York Racing Association, Inc. due to a powerful winter storm forecast to bring heavy snowfall and extremely high winds to the region.   The National Weather Service has placed New York City under a blizzard warning beginning at 1 p.m. Eastern and continuing through Monday at 6 p.m. Aqueduct will also be closed for simulcasting on Sunday. Judge Halts Process of Evidence-Gathering In Wide-Ranging CAW Lawsuit Against Nation's Top Tracks

Kevin Bond Charged with Conduct Detrimental in Wake of Facebook Incident

Trainer Kevin Bond, whose Facebook page sported an antisemitic comment regarding Rob Reiner, has been charged with conduct detrimental to the best interests of racing and to the New York Racing Association's Business Operations, as well as a breach of his stall application, NYRA revealed Friday. New NYRA Rules Regarding CAW Suspended Friday Due to Tote Upgrades; Will Return Wednesday

After being implemented and put into effect on Thursday, NYRA, citing a need to upgrade its tote system, announced Friday that the new "guardrail rails" put in place regarding Computer Assisted Wagering (CAW) will not go into effect until Feb. 11. NYRA To Host Belmont Stakes Racing Festival Job Fair At The Spa

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will host a job fair on Thursday, Feb. 26, to recruit employees for the 2026 Belmont Stakes Racing Festival at Saratoga Race Course, the track said via a press release Friday. NYRA Ready to Implement New Restrictions on CAW Play

After announcing in December at the Global Symposium on Racing in Tuscon, Arizona that it would be taking steps to limit Computer Assisted Wagering (CAW play) within the coming months, NYRA announced Friday that the new rules will go into effect on Feb. 5.
