The sixth annual calendar photo contest for inclusion in the 2027 Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance calendar is now open for submissions, the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA) announced Monday morning. Submissions should showcase Thoroughbreds, and must be relevant to the mission of the TAA as well as adhere to the criteria specified in the official contest rules. Submissions for the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance's Calendar Photo Contest will be accepted through July 28 and the winners will be announced October 2025. Winner receives a Tipperary Helmet of Choice and a Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance swag bag. Additionally, 12 winners receive a Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance swag bag. Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation is holding an online photo contest for horse lovers to celebrate their equine companions. The contest opens Feb. 1 and entries will be accepted through Feb. 29. They are seeking original photos of horses representing all breeds, backgrounds and disciplines. Finalists will be selected by the Grayson team and the winning photo will be chosen by votes from the public on Grayson's Facebook page.
