A colt by Constitution (hip 97), consigned by Warrendale Sales, Agent for Stonestreet Bred for Brilliance, brought an even $1,000,000 from Pedro Lanz who signed on the ticket on behalf of KAS Stables to become the seventh horse to break the million-dollar barrier during Monday's opening session at Saratoga. The colt is out of a full-sister to GSW Ballet Dancing (Medaglia d'Oro) who has already produced two winners from two to race.

A colt by Not This Time (hip 66) sold for $1,400,000 on a final bid from Kjell Anderson. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, the colt is a half to four stakes horses including GISW Union Strike (Union Rags), MGSW Handsome Mike (Scat Daddy), SW Pretty Lady (Scat Daddy) and SP Classic Sense (Street Sense).

Winchell Thoroughbreds had to go to $2,700,000 for a Gun Runner colt (hip 37) out of GSW/MGISP America, also the dam of MGSW/GISP and 'TDN Rising Star' First Captain (Curlin).
