The New York Racing Association (NYRA) will recognize all service members past and present on Military Appreciation Day at Saratoga Race Course next Thursday, Aug. 14, it was announced via press release Friday afternoon. The Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation will host its final fundraiser of the year, the Backyard BBQ, at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital in Saratoga Springs on Tuesday, August 19, the organization announced Thursday.
