The second edition of the Coral Gold Cup Sale will take place during Newbury's feature meeting on Saturday, November 30, Goffs announced in partnership with the racecourse on Thursday. Of the 18 horses sold at the inaugural sale, 13 achieved a six-figure sum and the average was £119,167. Shaun Hinds has been appointed as the new chief executive officer of Newbury Racecourse, succeeding Julian Thick who announced his resignation in August, the racecourse announced on Wednesday. Thick served in the role for 10 years.
