Tom Rudd Rejoins Tattersalls Ireland

After an 18-month stint at Limerick Racecourse as General Manager, Tom Rudd has been reappointed to the Tattersalls Ireland bloodstock department, announced the auction house via press release on Monday. A 20-year veteran of the company prior to his departure for Limerick, Rudd also rode for the late Michael O'Brien until 2002 and counts victory in the 1999 Irish Grand National to his career tally as a jockey. Sales Companies to Support ITBA NH Fillies Bonus Scheme

Goffs and Tattersalls Ireland have committed support of €50,000 each over the next three years toward the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders' Association's National Hunt Fillies Bonus Scheme, the ITBA announced. The support is in addition to the €100,000 from Horse Racing Ireland through the Foal Levy.
