As first reported by the DRF's David Grening, MGSW & MGISP Fluffy Socks (Slumber {GB}), one of the likely favorites for the GII Pegasus World Cup Filly & Mare Turf Saturday at Gulfstream Park, has been retired due to injury. As the field crossed the wire in Saturday's GII Los Alamitos Futurity, Sol Kumin experienced the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat all at once.
