Stallions To Parade At Irish National Stud Next Week

The 2024 seven-strong stallion roster at the Irish National Stud will parade daily while the Goffs February Sale is going on, the INS announced on Saturday. Parades, featuring stallions like Group 1 sire Invincible Spirit (Ire), Phoenix Of Spain (Ire) who has his first 3-year-olds this year, and Classic winner Mac Swiney (Ire), will take place at the stud on Feb. 6-8 from 11-3 p.m. each day. Highclere Stallion Parade to Support Racing Welfare

The Feb. 8 Highclere Stud Stallion Parade will now also support Racing Welfare. A donation equivalent to 5% of the nomination sales generated on the day of the parade will be donated to Racing Welfare, Highclere's Jake Warren announced. Chapel Stud to Offer 'Pick a Nom' Initiative

A new stallion nomination initiative, 'Pick a Nom', was launched by Chapel Stud on Thursday. The initiative applies to Chapel Stud stallions Bangkok (Ire) (Australia {GB}), Planteur (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}), and Walzertakt (Ger) (Montjeu {Ire}). It offers from 10% to 50% discounts on the stallions' Standard Stud Fee (FFR) of £4,000 for Planteur, £3,000 for Bangkok, and £2,500 for Walzertakt.
