Tattersalls Ascot November Catalogue Released

The catalogue for the Tattersalls Ascot November Sale was released on Tuesday. Slated for Nov. 4, the 99 lots are divided between 27 fillies in/out of training, 57 colts and geldings, four point-to-pointers, five yearlings and six stores. It will be the first sale held at Ascot Racecourse since December of 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The catalogue for the Arqana Summer Sale, slated for June 30-July 1, is now online. There are 593 lots total set to go through the ring at Deauville, with 81 Flat-bred 2-year-olds set to breeze at Deauville-La Touques Racecouse on June 29 beginning at 1 p.m. Those juveniles are first through the ring at 11 a.m. on June 30, with 156 2- and 3-year-old stores and 23 3-year-olds in training from the Ecurie Centrale dispersal set to follow later that day. New Records For Goffs UK Spring Store Sale

At the conclusion of the two-day Goffs UK Spring Store Sale at Doncaster, demand for quality stores produced record-breaking results across the board. Although the top price on Tuesday of £105,000 did not match the £165,000 set on Monday, a buoyant middle market resulted in 115 sold from 133 (86.5%) offered. Over the two days of selling, 41 lots brought £50,000 or more, up from 22 lots in 2019. The gross was £7,191,500 with 224 sold from 271 through the ring.
