TAKE2 Celebrates 10 Years

The Take2 Second Career Thoroughbred Program is celebrating its 10th year with a "Give 110 Percent!" campaign to raise $10,000 a month for 10 months. The ultimate goal is to reach $100,000 in donations by the end of the year. To help kick start the initiative, racehorse owner and entrepreneur Len Green has donated $10,000 to the campaign. David Cassidy: A Triple Crown Life Event Held Aug. 16

In celebration of the life and memory of celebrity David Cassidy, the 5th Annual David Cassidy: A Triple Crown Life Event will be held at Putnum Place in Saratoga Springs, NY Aug. 16. TAKE2 Finals Held Sunday in Lexington

A total of 32 horses representing 14 states traveled to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington this past weekend to take part in the 2021 TAKE2 Hunter and Jumper Finals at the Kentucky National Horse Show Sunday afternoon. The $20,000 event was created in 2019 to honor late TAKE2 founder Rick Violette Jr. A chestnut named MVP, owned and ridden by Tess Fortune and trained by Chris Bennings, took the hunter final. Zenyatta's Cozmic One Joins TAKE2 Thoroughbred League

Cozmic One (Bernardini), the first foal out of Horse of the Year Zenyatta (Street Cry {Ire}), has joined the TAKE2 Thoroughbred League and is slated to compete in the TAKE2 Thoroughbred Jumper Division at the Kentucky National Horse Show Sept. 22-26. TAKE2 Introduces Member Marketplace

TAKE2 announced the launch of the new TAKE2 Member Marketplace. TAKE2 Thoroughbred League Members can post horses or other equine-related items, including Thoroughbred Hunter or Jumper prospect, new or used saddles or bridles,  horse trailers or any other apparel, equipment or supplies, on the TAKE2 website (www.take2tbreds.com).
