The Goffs Orby Sale will for the second straight year be staged away from its traditional home in Co. Kildare, this year taking place at Tattersalls's Park Paddocks in Newmarket as the result of an agreement between the two sales companies. The Overbury Stud-based Ardad leads all first-season sires with 12 winners, headed by the G2 Norfolk S. winner Perfect Power (Ire), who is set to tackle the G1 Prix Morny next. Tattersalls and Newmarket Racecourse will stage the inaugural Tattersalls Somerville Auction S., for 2-year-olds over six furlongs worth £100,000, in August 2022 on the July Course. The race is restricted to graduates of this year's Tattersalls Somerville Yearling Sale, which is set for Newmarket's Park Paddocks on Sept. 7, and prizemoney will be paid down to tenth place, with £55,000 allocated to the winner.
