TBA To Host Virtual Awards

The Thoroughbred Breeders' Association will host a virtual awards event via YouTube on Sept. 17 from 7 p.m., during which it will present 10 awards including the British European Breeders' Fund Stallion Special Merit Award and the TBA Stud Employee Award. British DNA Samples to Ire for 2020

In a joint decision by the Animal Health Trust, Thoroughbred Breeders' Association and Weatherbys, the processing of all British Thoroughbred DNA samples will be moved to Weatherbys Scientific's laboratory in Ireland for the remainder of the 2020 breeding season. The decision was reached stemming from the AHT's inability to assure the processing time of samples. TBA Conducts COVID-19 Survey

The Thoroughbred Breeders' Association (TBA) has launched a survey to assess the immediate impact on the British Thoroughbred breeding industry brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. It is intended that the TBA will carry out a further survey of breeders' activities as the situation progresses in order to formulate a strategy to support the British breeding industry.  In the meantime it is seeking respondents to its initial survey, found via this link, by Friday, Apr. 24.
