Woodbine Adjusts Post Time

First post time for live Thoroughbred racing at Woodbine Racetrack has been moved up, according to Woodbine Entertainment on Tuesday. Effective Friday, June 5, the first race post time on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays is moved up from 1:20 p.m. to 1 p.m. Post time for live racing on Thursdays, to be added to the schedule on June 11, is 3 p.m. For more information on live racing, visit www.Woodbine.com or follow @WoodbineTB and @WoodbineComms on X.

Churchill's Foster Preview Day Takes Center Stage On Graded Stakes Weekend

With June around the corner, the graded stakes calendar heats back up as Churchill Downs hosts its Stephen Foster Preview on Saturday. King's Plate Set for August 15

The 167th running of the King's Plate will be held Aug. 15 at Woodbine Racetrack, Woodbine Entertainment announced Wednesday. The first leg of the Canadian Triple Crown, the King's Plate is North America's oldest continuously run stakes race and will carry a purse of $1 million this year. Woodbine Racetrack Cancels Sunday Card Due To Weather

Woodbine cancelled its live Sunday Thoroughbred racing card following the first race due to inclement weather, the track said in a press release on Sunday afternoon. The statement went on to say that the decision was made in the best interest of all participants and included consultation with the HBPA. Live racing is scheduled to resume Thursday, Nov. 13 at 5:30 p.m. ET. Woodbine Racetrack remained open for simulcasting.
