Champion and Kentucky Oaks victress Thorpedo Anna enjoyed a layoff at Kenny McPeek's Magdalena Farm following her Breeders' Cup victory. While there, one of her grooms Cordell Anderson, who is well known in racing circles as a ringman at Keeneland, developed a soft spot for the star filly.
