GI Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint winner Bobby's Kitten (Kitten's Joy) has had nine of his first mares covered scanned in foal. Those include G3 Ballyogan S. winner Miss Anabaa; Listed Flying Fillies' S. winner Mullein; and Matron of Honour, a half-sister to Group 1 winner and young sire Casamento (Ire) (Shamardal).
“We are delighted with the response to Bobby's Kitten from mare owners all over Europe,” said Lanwades owner Kirsten Rausing. “Mr and Mrs Kenneth Ramsey, who bred and owned Bobby's Kitten, have sent over 10 mares [all due to foal to Kitten's Joy] from Kentucky to visit Bobby's Kitten. Lanwades is supporting him with a significant number of our best mares, and we have nice mares visiting also from Ireland and France. We are very grateful to the breeders at home and abroad who support this exciting young horse.”
