$1.55M For Heart Shaped (Storm Cat) in Foal to A.P. Indy

Heart Shaped (f, 4, Storm Cat–Twenty Eight Carat, by Alydar), in foal to A.P. Indy, was hammered down to Blanford Bloodstock for $1.55 million at the second session of Keeneland November Tuesday. Consigned by Eaton Sales, agent, she was raced by Michael Tabor and was rated the highweight juvenile filly in Ireland after winning a listed event and running second in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. She was Group 3 placed last year. The four-year-old was bred by Elizabeth Moran's Brushwood Stables, which also bred the dam, Twenty Eight Carat. Brushwood sold the dam as a KEEJUL yearling in 1991 for $325,000, then reacquired her, in foal to Fusaichi Pegasus, for a cool $4 million at KEENOV 2001. Heart Shaped is a half to GISW A P Valentine (A.P. Indy) and SW Summer Bet (Summer Squall).
