The Daily Racing Form has reported that Breeders' Cup Ltd. and Churchill Downs Inc. will officially announce Wednesday that the 2010 Breeders' Cup has been awarded to the Louisville, KY, racetrack. It will be the seventh time Churchill Downs has hosted the event. The DRF's source confirmed that the 2010 Breeders' Cup had initially been given to Belmont Park, but a change was made in Churchill's favor.
