46 Winner Could be Ascot-Bound

Trainer Graham Motion reported Saturday morning that Miss Temple City (Temple City), who upset the boys in Friday's GI Maker's 46 Mile at Keeneland, was doing well and could take a second overseas trip this summer. “It was very satisfying, one of the most satisfying things that I have done,” Motion said. “She is super this morning and I am not in a hurry to run back.” The dark bay finished a solid fourth in last year's G1 Coronation S. at Royal Ascot, and Motion has his eye on another race at this year's meeting. “I am thinking about the Duke of Cambridge, a Group 2 at Royal Ascot [June 15] that is a mile on the straight,” Motion said. “I think a mile might be her deal.”
