62 Stakes Scheduled for Santa Anita Winter Meet

Santa Anita Park's 2017-18 winter meet will feature a total of 62 stakes–compared to 58 scheduled a year ago–over the course of 60 race days (vs. 72 in 2016-17). The meet will once again open on the day after Christmas, Dec. 26, with a card highlighted by the GI Malibu S. and GI La Brea S. The meet's other Grade I races are the American Oaks Dec. 30; Triple Bend S., Santa Anita H. and Frank E. Kilroe Mile Mar. 10; Santa Margarita S. Mar. 17; and Santa Anita Oaks and Santa Anita Derby Apr. 7.
