Out of the Canny Lad (Aus) mare Shanth?s Choice (Aus), a three-quarter-sister to G1 winner H?s No Pie Eater (Aus), as well as a half-sister to G1 winners Hurricane Sky (Aus) and Umatilla (Aus), the Broken Shore is a half-sister to three individual G1 winners; Redout?s Choice (Aus), Platinum Scissors (Aus) and Manhattan Rain (Aus).
