A Half-Dozen Frankel Foals at Goffs November

The Goffs November Sale, to be held Nov. 17-20, will feature no fewer than six foals from the first crop of world champion and undefeated Frankel (GB) (Galileo {Ire}), more than any other sale in the world. Among the half-dozen are: a filly out of dual Classic winner Finsceal Beo (Ire) (Mr. Greeley), a 3/4-sister to G2 Beresford S. hero and leading 2016 G1 Epsom Derby chance Ol' Man River (Ire) (Montjeu {Ire}); a colt out of GI E. P. Taylor S. victress Lahaleeb (Ire) (Redback {GB}); a filly out of Song (Ire), a full-sister to Classic winner Yesterday (Ire) and champion juvenile Quarter Moon (Ire); a half-brother to G1SP US Law (Fr) (Lawman {Fr}) from the family of Galileo's GI Breeders' Cup Turf hero Red Rocks (Ire); a filly whose second dam is champion Imagine (Ire) (Sadler's Wells); and a filly out of GSW Discreet Brief (Ire) (Darshaan {GB}). “That Goffs will offer the most Frankel foals for sale anywhere in the world this year is a wonderful endorsement from our vendors and underlines the sustained success of our November Foal Sale in recent years,” commented Goffs Chief Executive Henry Beeby. “Irish breeders have supported Goffs with a mouthwatering selection of their best foals, resulting in a catalogue of strength, depth and diversity that will appeal to both pinhookers, who enjoyed such success at the Orby Sale this year, as well as a broad range of international purchasers looking to secure some of Ireland's best to race”.
