A. P. Indian (Indian Charlie–Ender's Sister, by A.P. Indy), last summer's GI Alfred G. Vanderbilt H. and GI Forego S. winner, has been retired, according to trainer Arnaud Delacour.

The seven-year-old gelding, owned and bred by Green Lantern Stables, was a late scratch from Saturday's Vanderbilt. He also won last term's GII Phoenix S. at Keeneland and GIII Belmont Sprint Championship. He crossed the line fourth and was moved up to third via disqualification in the 2016 GI Breeders' Cup Sprint at Santa Anita.

Produced by the MSW & MGSP Ender's Sister, A. P. Indian is a half-brother to 2015 GII Indiana Derby winner Tiz Shea D (Tiznow). The bay retires with a record of 20-11-6-1 and earnings of $1,477,434.
