Knocked down for A$1.1m, Rex Is A Star is out of the G3-winning Rock Of Gibraltar (Ire) mare Sliding Cube (Aus), a three-quarter-sister to G1 winners Redout?s Choice (Aus) and Platinum Scissors (Aus). Rex Is A Star is a full relation to this seaso?s G3 winner Rubick (Aus) (Encosta de Lago {Aus}) as well as Drifting Cube (Aus) who had sold earlier in the sale for A$1.1m.
