Artistique (Ire) (15, Linamix {Fr}–Armarama {GB}, by Persian Bold {Ire}), the dam of Group 1 winner Montmartre (Fr) (Montjeu {Ire}), attracted a bid of 520,000 euros from Horse France's Robert Nataf to top Saturday's session of the Arqana Breeding Stock Sale.
The grey mare was a Group 3 winner for breeder Jean-Luc Lagardere; His Highness the Aga Khan privately acquired the Lagardere bloodstock holdings in early 2005.
In addition to Montmartre, Artistique is the dam of Group 3-placed Artistica (Fr) (Spinning World). She has a yearling Montjeu colt and produced a Sinndar (Ire) filly in 2011. She is in foal on an April cover to Cape Cross (Ire).
