New Haras de Bouquetot residents and G1SWs Al Wukair (Ire) (Dream Ahead) and Zelzal (Fr) (Sea The Stars {Ire}) will stand for €15,000 and €8,000, respectively for Al Shaqab.
Sheikh Joann Al Thani's operation announced the retirement of the duo in mid-October. A winner of the G1 Prix Jacques Le Marois, Al Wukair (Ire) also won the G3 Prix Djebel and was third in this year's G1 QIPCO 2000 Guineas. He retires to France with a record of 7-4-1-1 and prize money of $654,270. Zelzal was successful in the 2016 edition of the G1 Prix Jean Prat, as well as the G3 Prix Paul de Moussac and took third in the G1 Qatar Prix du Moulin de Longchamp that term. He saluted four times from 10 trips to the post and sports earnings of $496,746.
Haras de Bouquetot also welcomes fellow first year stallions Brametot (Ire) (Rajsaman {Fr}), a dual Classic hero, and MG1SW Ectot (GB) (Hurricane Run {Ire}). They stand for €10,000 and €5,000, respectively. MG1SW Toronado (Ire) (High Chaparral {Ire}), who stood the past three seasons at The National Stud in Newmarket, also migrates across the channel and commands €12,000.
Shalaa (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}), a MG1SW who stood his first season at Bouquetot this spring, is available at an unchanged fee of €27,500. Four time Group 1 winner Olympic Glory (Ire) (Choisir {Aus}) has his first juveniles next year, and will stand for €12,000, while Planteur (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}) €4,000, and Style Vendome (Fr) (Anabaa) €5,000, both will have their first 3-year-olds.
