Starlight Racing's Algorithms (Bernardini), last-out winner of the GIII Holy Bull S. and the 8-5 morning-line favorite for Sunday's GII Fountain of Youth S., will be scratched after popping a splint. “The colt has been training beautifully,” trainer Todd Pletcher said. “It's an unfortunate situation. We'll monitor him closely and see how he responds.” Discreet Dancer (Discreet Cat) will represent the Pletcher barn in the race, in which the comebacking Union Rags (Dixie Union) now figures to go favored.
