All Too Hard (Aus) (c, 3, Casino Prince {Aus}) was scratched from Saturday's G1 Australian Guineas early Saturday morning (Melbourne time). The half-brother to champion Black Caviar (Aus) (Bel Esprit {Aus}) was found to have an elevated temperature and was withdrawn from the race at 7 a.m. local time. “In human terms, he's got a cold,” trainer Wayne Hawkes told AAP. “He's had some antibiotics and he'll be fit for another day. We take the temperature of all our horses every day and his was up enough to have us concerned. He licked his bin out last night and he could be back to normal and bucking his brand off by tomorrow.” All Too Hard, runner-up in the G1 Cox Plate in October, has won his two starts this preparation, taking the G1 C. F. Orr S. Feb. 9 and the G1 Futurity S. Feb. 23.
