American Pharoah Colt Sets Arqana Standard

Brendan Holland of Grove Stud spent $275,000 on this first-crop American Pharoah colt at Keeneland September last year, and he saw that investment pay off on Saturday at Arqana when the colt fetched €1.1-million from Broadhurst Agency. The colt is out of an unraced half-sister to Grade I winner and sire Leroidesanimaux (Brz), and the third dam is Kerali, the dam of the legendary producer Hasili.
