AmWager, the online account wagering platform owned and operated by AmWest Entertainment, has joined the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA), it was announced Monday. Beginning in 2017, AmWager and its affiliates will offer more berths to the National Handicapping Championship (NHC), both online and at Off-Track Betting facilities, with the assistance of NTRA member pricing.
“Joining the NTRA and supporting its efforts on behalf of the industry is only the latest example of our commitment to Thoroughbred racing in the United States,” said AmWager and AmWest founder and CEO Nelson E. Clemmens. “We provide the best wagering experience on the Internet and intend to keep it that way. Offering more paths to qualify for the NHC is something our customers have told us they want and we are happy to deliver.”
