AᅠKinsman Farm-bred son ofᅠMedaglia d'Oro, who bore a striking resemblance to his sire, fueled the latter stages of day four of the Keeneland September Sale, selling for an even $1 million to David Ingordo, agent. Consigned by Lane's End on behalf of the Steinbrenner family operation, the dark bay is a son of dual Grade I winner Dream Supreme (Seeking the Gold), making him a half-brother to the promising young sire and Grade I winner Majestic Warrior (A.P. Indy) as well as black-type winners Evolutionist (El Prado {Ire}) and Crystal Current (A.P. Indy). It was the third seven-figure sale for the Darley stallion, who also accounted for Wednesday's half-brother to GI Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver (Maria's Mon) and Monday's half-sister to MGSW Hungry Island (More Than Ready). Hip 846 is bred on the same cross as GI Carter H. winner Warrior's Reward.
