Jockey Ana O'Brien, who suffered injuries including fractured vertebrae in her neck and back and fractured cheekbones in a fall at Killarney on July 18, has left hospital, according to Racing Post. Father Aidan O'Brien told the publication, “Ana was released from hospital [on Tuesday]. She's delighted to be home and, all things considered, she's in good form and very grateful and appreciative of the excellent care she received both at Killarney and in hospital.”
O'Brien, who was riding Druids Cross (Ire) (Cape Cross {Ire}) for her brother Joseph O'Brien when her mount was fatally injured, is expected to be out three to four months.
