+RIGHT HAND MAN (c, 2, Street Boss–Storm Queen, by Stormy Atlantic) gave his sire bookend cross-country maiden winners in the fifth of the day at Santa Anita. The $120,000 second highest-priced lot out of the 2015 Barretts Fall Sale, Right Hand Man turned in some sparkling trials over the main track at Pleasanton, including bullet half-miles May 10 and May 17, and signaled his readiness for this debut with a strong five-eighths move from the gate in 1:00 3/5 over this surface June 2. Quickly into stride from gate three for Stewart Elliott, the bay set a good pace while pressed along by well-meant firster The All Button (Into Mischief). Going better than anything as they hit the top of the lane, Right Hand Man stayed on well and had a margin of about 1 1/2 lengths on Aqua Frio (Uncle Mo) at the wire. Street Boss was also represented by the debuting 2-year-old filly Like a Hurricane earlier in the day at Churchill Downs. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $33,600.
