John Ferguson signed for six of the eight Dubawis sold during Tuesday's opening session of Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, and Sheikh Mohammed's advisor was back early Wednesday to scoop up another seven-figure offering by the Darley sire when going to 2.1-million guineas for lot 229, a colt bred by the Niarchos Family and consigned by Watership Down Stud. The bay is out of the stakes-winning Nature Spirits (Fr) (Beat Hollow {GB}), a half-sister to dual group winner Curtain Call (Fr) (Sadler's Wells) and stakes winner Launched (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}).
